The ninth Annual St. John's School Eagle 5K, 1-mile Fun Run, and Bike Ride. Proceeds benefit St. John's School's scholarship fund and 20 percent donated to MedStar St. Mary's Breast Cancer Imaging Program, in memory of longtime St. John's principal Pat Suit. This year's event includes an Obstacle Course, featuring Adrenaline Rush Inflatable Obstacle Course in the 1-Mile Kids Fun Run. Salted Scoop Ice Cream will be on site, as well as Port of Leonardtown Winery and Blue Wind Gourmet Food Truck. SJS volunteers will serve beer. Also featured will be a Merchant Expo, a Pumpkin Carving Contest, and Dance Party DJs. Registration fee includes a T-shirt, finisher medal or pumpkin carving scoop, commemorative bib, and a mini pumpkin. Drive-through packet pickup will be October 27 and 28 from 4 to 6 p.m. at the Monsignor Harris Center at St. John's School.
