The awards recognizes any school, restaurant, business, non-profit, farm, or household that embraces environmental stewardship, resource conservation, or pollution prevention. This program is free and open to any resident, business, or organization in St. Mary’s County that has demonstrated outstanding efforts to improve our environment. Recognition may be granted for voluntary initiatives, projects or for efforts exceeding regulatory requirements during the calendar year (January to December 2023).
