A SMECO customer-member may authorize an individual, organization, or agency to receive a copy of any Notice of Termination of Service the customer might receive. The purpose of Third-Party Notice is to give the appointed party an opportunity to investigate the situation on behalf of the customer. The third party is in no way legally responsible for the customer’s service or for paying any part of the customer’s electric bill. Call SMECO at 1-888-440-3311 to receive a copy of the form to request Third-Party Notice.
