My home’s temperature feels uncomfortable and I’m not sure if it is due to SmartTemp; how can I check?

Check to see if the uncomfortable temperature occurred during event timing. Remember that events do not occur on weekends, holidays, or overnight. If you’re experiencing uncomfortable temperatures during one of these time frames it is likely from a thermostat setting unrelated to the program.

If it was during potential event timing, please review your current cooling setpoint. The program will increase your cooling setpoint by 1–4°F during the summer events. If your setpoint is too high, the program may adjust your temperature to an uncomfortable level.

Example: If your home’s cooling setpoint is set to reach a max of 78°F before air conditioning kicks on, the program could adjust your home’s temperature to 81°F during an event.

Confirm your thermostat temperature is not being affected by your smart thermostat’s energy efficiency settings. Common settings to check:
