Reliability is a top priority for your cooperative. In order to ensure reliability, SMECO employees perform routine inspections of the system to ensure the equipment is in good, working order. The inspection may bring employees onto your property and we want you to know why they are there.
To maintain a safe and reliable system, our goal is to inspect every service point at least once every two years, but we may conduct inspections at any time.

SMECO is performing service point inspections on all of the cooperative’s equipment from the transformer to the meter.
