Interested in running for the Board of Directors?
Applications are due in May
Eligible cooperative members* interested in running in 2024 to serve on SMECO’s Board of Directors must submit their applications in May.
All candidates must complete an online Board of Directors Candidate Application available online at smeco.coop/annualmeeting.
Running by nomination?
Submit your application to the Nominating Committee by 4 p.m., May 3, 2024.
(Correction: Please note that the date to submit applications to run by Nominating Committee was incorrect in the March 2024 edition of the Cooperative Review newsletter.)
Running by petition?
Submit your application and a petition signed by any group of 15 or more SMECO members by 4 p.m., May 23, 2024.
*In order to serve as a director, you must have been a SMECO member with your name on the account for at least one year.
