SMECO makes customer service a high priority. If you have a question about our services or a non-outage problem with your electric service, use the following General Information Contact form. Please provide complete and thorough information about the issue and how we may contact you. SMECO cannot correct your problem or answer your question if we do not have complete information or a method of contacting you to follow-up on the issue.

What mobile devices can I use?

You can access your encrypted e-mails using most major mobile devices, including iPhones and iPads, Android phones, and BlackBerrys.

Offices

The SMECO headquarters in Hughesville and its regional office in Leonardtown are open to the public Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m., except for holidays.
Cooperative offices are closed in observance of:

  • All Federal holidays
  • Good Friday
  • The Friday following Thanksgiving Day

SMECO maintains an Operations Center and a Contact Center that are staffed 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, in order to rapidly respond to electrical outages and provide convenient customer service.
