Are You In for Winter Energy Savings?
This Winter, a group of SMECO households will be randomly selected to participate in the My Energy Target Challenge.* From December, 2024 to April, 2025, participants will have the opportunity to select an energy-saving goal and receive personalized feedback and tips to help them achieve their goal. By setting an energy-saving goal this winter, participants’ possible summer reward will increase by $25, making them eligible for an incentive payment of up to $225 this summer.
If you are selected to participate, you will receive:
- A goal-setting email that allows you to set an energy-saving goal that works for you and your household. Set a goal and automatically add $25 to your possible summer reward.
- Goal follow-up emails that provide you with personalized feedback and tips to help you achieve your goal.
- Energy savings tips to help you save energy and money this winter.
