SMECO held 30th regional MATHCOUNTS competition
Each year, more than 500 regional competitions are held in middle schools across the country. In 2024, your cooperative held the 30th annual regional MATHCOUNTS Competition at Calvert High School.
Board election process begins
Every year, SMECO conducts its members’ meeting for the purpose of electing directors and voting on bylaw changes. In 2024, elections will be held to fill one position in Calvert/Anne Arundel, and two positions each in Charles and St. Mary’s counties. Ballots will be mailed and members can vote by mail or online.

Contact Miss Utility at 811 to locate underground lines before you begin digging. You make one call, Miss Utility contacts companies to mark electric, cable TV, phone, gas, water, and sewer lines.
